How far along: 38 weeks exactly
Total weight gain: Ugh yeah so I gained 4 lbs in 1 week. I about fell off of the scale. My OB, Dr Becky, said not to worry about it since I'm basically swollen up like a pool floatie. She said "oh that 4 lbs will go away quick"... I wanted to be like, yeah what about the other 31 lbs?! But I didn't, in the end, I'm not going to worry about it. I'm going to give birth to a beautiful, healthy (and hopefully not giant) baby. He or she will be worth it.
Baby's heart rate: 140's
Stretch marks: Let's not talk about this
Sleep: Not so good. I have a terrible sinus cold again, that coupled with a pea size bladder.
Best moment of the week: Actually yesterday in the midst of me feeling like complete crap, the kids and I cuddled on the couch and read books. It was so fun. We had our pillows and blankets and a few books that they picked out. Bella picked out a book about "What to expect when the new baby comes home". It's geared towards little kids and she loved it. She kept asking questions and I somehow found answers to them. "Mama will the baby eat from your boobies?" "Mama I don't have to touch that brown thing on the baby's belly button, do I?" She's SO curious! Grayson's obsessed with the book the Little Blue Truck (thanks Aunt CeeCee and family), it's an adorable book about 2 trucks and one of them has bad manners and isn't so nice. In the end, the dump truck learns that you have to be nice and work together.
Gender: I still feel like it's a boy, I told Ryan yesterday if the baby comes out and they say it's a girl that I'll have to have them check twice! I'll be that shocked. I'm not sure why I feel like it's a boy, I just do.
Names: I'm pretty sure we're settled on Mariah Jade for a girl. I really like Lauren but I can't get Mariah Lauren to flow quite as nicely as Jade. Ryan liked Jade when we were pregnant with Bella but we didn't want her initials to be BJ. Still, Luca Ryan for a boy.
Movement: Oh so active!
Food cravings: Chocolate by the handfuls.
Labor signs: Aunt Nora predicted I'd go into labor last night at midnight but no luck. I'm predicting this weekend sometime. Ryan says sometime in the next week.
Belly button in or out: Still flat.
What I miss: Being comfortable, being this pregnant is not for the faint of heart!
What I'm looking forward to: Feeling better from this sinus infection and giving birth to this baby.

I think I'm more excited about this baby than the other two because we don't know whether baby Z is a boy or girl. It's like waiting for Christmas morning. Can't wait!!
